Why some cells are locked

Butter-yellow cells are yours to type in. Everything else works itself out, so those cells are locked to stop a formula being typed over by accident.

There's no password. If you really want to change something, use Review, Unprotect Sheet (Excel) or Data, Protect sheets and ranges (Google Sheets). Keep a copy first.
